Progetto preliminare del Centro Tecnologico di Servizi integrati alle impresea L'intervento prevede Il Raddoppio dell'area fieristico-espositiva, L’Adeguamento tecnologico dell'edificio uffici esistente, Una Nuova Sala conferenze/Centro congressi modulare di circa 1000 posti a sedere,Nuovi spazi per Accademia di Alta Formazione. L'edifico ha una superficie di circa 30mila metri quadrati e prevedi spazi multiculturali e multidisciplinari tra cui: Accademia dell’Alta Formazione (4.000 metri quadri per attività di formazione specialistica e corsi di aggiornamento per imprenditori e liberi professionisti), Area Espositiva di 10.000 mq per ospitare mostre e fiere specializzate, Centro di informazione per le Associazioni di Categoria, Struttura convegnistica all’avanguardia e modulare fino a mille posti a sedere. Elemento cardine della progettazione è la conservazione dell'area verde attualmente presente sull'area. Tale area è integrata con il nuovo ingresso dell'intero complesso caratterizzato da 2 vele realizzate con pannelli in lameria stirata. L'accesso all'edificio, aperto verso la città ma sovrastato da una copertura in vetro prevede spazi adibiti ad info point e biglietteria, bar e ristoranti e a piccole sale espositive rese trasparenti e a diretto contatto con il pubblico da strutture vetrate di altezze variabili. Il grande atrio di ingresso prevede aree verdi caratterizzate dal mantenimento delle essenze arboree e degli alberi esistenti. Il percorso di accesso all'area fieristica e agli uffici disposti su più livelli che si affacciano direttamente sulla piazza interna permette all'utente finale di interagire direttamente con i diversi servizi offerti dalla struttura. La copertura dell'edificio realizzata in alluminio prevede, oltre a spazi verdi e terrazze con pavimentazione in legno fruibili dal pubblico, aree dedicate alla produzione di energia da fonti rinnovabili. La sala congressi, accessibile dal piano terra è caratterizzata da un rivestimento in lastre di lamiera microforata color bianco e vetro che permette, durante le ore serali e notturne, la visibilità del suo interno creando un filtro diretto con la città. La sala espositiva, realizzata demolendo l'attuale edificio dai caratteri industriali, è collegata direttamente all'attuale palazzina uffici che sarà preservata e integrata nel linguaggio dell'intero complesso con la realizzazione di una pelle esterna in vetro, alluminio e lamiera stirata.
Project Description: Integrated Business Services Technological Centre. Preliminary Project for the Integrated Business Services Technological Centre The intervention envisages the Doubling of the trade fair-exhibition area, the Technological Adaptation of the existing office building, a New Conference Hall/Modular Congress Centre of about 1000 seats, New spaces for Higher Education Academy. The project is aimed at high architectural and engineering quality, easy recognisability in the context of the Predda Niedda zone, sustainability and energy efficiency, and the preservation of all the greenery currently present in the area. The building has a surface of approximately 30.000 square metres and envisages multicultural and multidisciplinary spaces including: Academy of Higher Education (4.000 square metres for specialized training activities and refresher courses for entrepreneurs and freelancers), 10.000 square metres Exhibition Area to host specialized exhibitions and trade fairs, Information Centre for Trade Associations, state-of-the-art modular Conference facility seating up to 1.000 people. Innovation and Competitiveness Area, with Reference Centre for Technological Innovation, Info Point for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Information, Awareness-raising and Enhancement Actions for Characteristic Productions, Interventions for Tourism Development. A pivotal element of the design is the conservation of the green area currently present on the site. This area is integrated with the new entrance to the entire complex featuring 2 sails made of expanded metal panels. The entrance to the building, open towards the city but surmounted by a glass roof, provides spaces for an info point and ticket office, bars and restaurants, and small exhibition rooms made transparent and in direct contact with the public by glass structures of varying heights. The large entrance atrium includes green areas characterised by the preservation of existing tree essences and trees. The access path to the exhibition area and the offices arranged on several levels facing directly onto the internal square allows the end-user to interact directly with the various services offered by the structure. The roof of the building made of aluminium provides, in addition to green spaces and terraces with wooden flooring usable by the public, dedicated areas to the production of energy from renewable sources. The conference hall, accessible from the ground floor, is characterised by a covering of white micro-perforated sheet metal and glass which allows, during the evening and night hours, visibility of its interior, creating a direct filter with the city. The exhibition hall, built by demolishing the existing building with its industrial character, is directly connected to the existing office building, which will be preserved and integrated into the language of the entire complex with the creation of an external skin of glass, aluminium and expanded metal.
