Descrizione progetto: Il progetto prevede il recupero funzionale e architettonico dell’intero complesso edilizio costituito da un cascinale a destinazione residenziale e da un  ex fienile rurale.
L’abbattimento dell’ex fienile ha guidato la progettazione del nuovo edificio che riprende la vecchia struttura come concepita in origine.
L’edificio ospiterà due unità abitative indipendenti da 150 metri quadrati disposte su tre livelli ( due piani f.t. e un interrato) ai quali si accede con scale interne.
I materiali utilizzati richiamano quelli tradizionali del luogo.
Mattoni faccia vista antichizzati e pannelli in legno per i paramenti esterni, serramenti in legno, copertura realizzata con struttura portante in legno lamellare e manto di copertura in coppi.
Un’ampia vetrata nei soggiorni al piano terra e nelle camere da letto al primo piano consente di abitare in locali molto luminosi.
Il vano scala esterno è illuminato da tagli verticali nella facciata realizzati con serramenti in legno ed elementi orizzontali frangisole in legno.

 

Project description: The project involves the functional and architectural recovery of the entire building complex consisting of a farmhouse for residential use and a former rural barn.

The demolition of the former barn guided the design of the new building, which incorporates the old structure as originally conceived.

The building will house two independent 150 square metre residential units on three levels (two storeys above ground and a basement) accessed by internal stairs.

The materials used recall the traditional materials of the place.

Antique facing bricks and wooden panels for the external facings, wooden window and doorframes, and a roof made with a glulam load-bearing structure and a roof covering of tiles.

Large windows in the living rooms on the ground floor and in the bedrooms on the first floor allow light to enter and living very bright rooms.

The external stairwell is lit by vertical cuts in the facade made with wooden window frames and horizontal wooden sunshade elements.
